Pinot Meunier is a champagne variety that’s often overlooked, but it’s long been one of our favorites and we‘re sure this single varietal sparkler will make it one of yours too.

This wine has a slightly savory edge and a crisp finish.

Story

Vineyard

The historic Yount Mill Vineyard sits on the floor of Napa Valley, just north of the town of Yountville. The site has been farmed for over 100 years by one of Napa’s pioneering families. It’s a warm site that maintains cool nighttime temperatures, which allows us to harvest early for acidity but still achieve riper flavors. Farmed organically since 1987.

Winemaking

Gently pressed, settled in tank overnight and then spontaneously fermented in neutral French oak barrels. A true méthode champenoise, this sparkling was aged sur lie for 18 months. Disgorged by hand August 2024.
